DESCRIPTION
This is a beautiful First Edition copy, of "Mr. Pickwick", (which is taken from Charles Dickens' "The Pickwick Papers"). The book is signed by the illustrator (Frank Reynolds) and is number 232 of 350 copies printed. Reynolds' illustrations are all in full colour and are hand-mounted plates, with descriptive tissue-guards. The vellum binding is beautiful and extremely decorative. The book has been well cared for and it remains in Good overall condition. It would make a fabulous addition to any children's illustrated library or decorative private collection.
