The France map is dated 1808.\n\nContemporary half-leather binding with gilt spine, 643 pp., 1 p. catalogue of engravings. With 20 engravings, including a multi-folded map of France, plans of Paris, Genoa, Turin, plates of national costumes, views of Paris, Toulon, Corfu, and views of the Town Hall in Brussels, Strasbourg Cathedral, and the Hôtel des Invalides. \n\nAccording to the list of copperplate engravings, the views of the Tuileries, the French military and the port of Brest are missing. Not listed in the catalogue but bound in: views of Valence and Compiègne.\n\n\nSize\n20 x 12.5 cm\n\nCondition\nCover scuffed and worn; pages partly somewhat browned and stained, with some water stains.
