Magnificent decorative antique French box, rectangular in shape with a hinged lid, made of metal and richly decorated with ornamental motifs and architectural scenes.

The lid features a central composition with a landscape and architectural view in blue tones, framed by a rich ornamental decoration. The sides of the box similarly show different views of buildings and landscapes, accompanied by relief decorative motifs inspired by classical motifs.

Especially notable are the decoration on the edges and sides, with ornamental relief elements that run along the entire piece. The interior also preserves embossed metal decoration, including ornamental motifs on the inner part of the lid.

The piece exhibits a very characteristic old patina, with signs of wear, superficial oxidation and losses in certain areas of the decoration, especially inside and on the exterior surface. These signs are visible in the photographs and form part of the character and history of the piece.
