Waterman C/F Fountain Pen in a rare fully gold plated finish, decorated with vertical lines. The country of manufactury is not marked on the pen, so it was produced in the USA between 1953 and 1957/58. In 1957/58 production of the C/F was moved from the USA to France. French made pens are marked 'Made in France'. Fitted with an 18K-750 solid gold nib in what I consider to be a Medium Italic point. Hallmarks on both cap and barrel The cap is marked 'WATERMAN C/F' The pen is in absolutely excellent condition with just superficial signs of use (micro scratches) Comes in its original box complete with instruction leaflet. The pen uses the old proprietary Waterman C/F cartridges wich are very hard to find nowadays. Included are an empty and a partially dried out C/F cartridge that can be filled with a syringe Will be shipped by registered mail.
