French Violin by M. Couturieux - ca.1909 - France - Lutherie Artistique .
This violin is an excellent example of the fine string instruments that were made in Mirecourt in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Violins from the M. Courturieux workshop were made according to the highest standards. Those violins had one of the best tone evaluations.
Generally the violin is in good condition, with some scratches regard the age. And there is some missing pieces like the strings and the tailpiece,Fingerboard.
The BOW is in perfect condition.
It came with an antique wood box.
Length : 55cm
Wide : 19.5cm
