Chaturanga chess is an ancient board game originating in India in the 4th century B.C. It is considered the oldest game of chess.
To play, two opposing players have two sets of pieces each, or four players in two opposing teams.
The pieces are solid made of some kind of stone or similar material. The board is made of the same material as the pieces. It measures 29 x 29 x 0.8 cm and the bottom part is lined with velvet. The board and the pieces are of good quality and in perfect condition
It includes the game instructions and a historical book with identification number, in very good condition
The box where all material is transported has some damage due to the passage of time, but nothing serious
The lot will be thoroughly and carefully packed.
