In 1909 Edmond Laurent Etling established a shop on the Rue du paradis 29 Paris under the firm name 'Edmond et Cie', of which one could purchase art objects of bronze, stoneware and glass, manufactured by (freelance) visual artists from the are déco period. Edling let the glassware be made by Verrerie Choisy-Le-Roi, which was established at the outskirts of Paris. Many famous visual artists worked for Etling. The glass designers included among others Granger, Madame Sévin and her husband Delabasse and many more.
