Under command of Stalin the First Moscow Watch Factory was established in 1927. In 1930 the first Russian watches entered the market.
In the early 1960s, after Youri Gagarin made his first flight in outer space as a human, the watches got the brand name Poljot, which means 'flight'.
Since the 1960s Poljot watches have the reputation to be the most stable in the world.
