Gudea was a ruler of the state of Lagash in South Mesopotamia who ruled ca. 2144-2124 B C. He was married to Ninalla, the daughter of the ruler Ur-Baba (2164-2144 B C) Of Lagash, which gave him access to the royal house of Lagash.
This reproduction is made in France. Marked: Production bronze (signed at the back of the statue)
