France Massé bought the factory “Le Gazon” from Jules Fourmaintraux in 1903 which specialised in the manufacture of tiles and developed into a Faience workshop in 1918.
When he died in 1923, his wife and two sons, Jacques and Robert, continued the business which created the company “MASSE FRERES”
MASSE FRERES merged with the company Gabriel Fourmaintraux where everything was grouped in 1994. Today, the factory “Le Gazon” has been destroyed.
