Very beautiful old nightlight, typical of French Art Deco (c. 1930) signed Frecourt.
Maurice Frecourt was recognized in the 1890s for the quality of his work.
This lamp represents a scene of meals nestled on vine branch with grape cluster decorations. Beautiful sculpture in very good condition. Bronze-patinated metal mounted on black marble base. In very good condition.
Smoked glass globe in very good condition, encrusted switch in working condition.
Signed FRECOURT on the base. Very good general condition, no major defects.
Beautiful piece of art from the Art Deco era, electricity of the period, but in perfect working condition; large brass socket with bayonet base (bulb not provided).
