Beautiful and interesting antique item, ideal as a home decor item or collector’s item for surveyors or architects. Graduated with compass for measurements. In good condition with signs of wear and tear. In working condition. Refined metal and bronze construction. Complete with original walnut box with dovetail joints and transport handle. Dimensions: 8.5 (diameter) x 12 (height) cm ca. Case dimensions: 20 x 12 x 11 cm ca. Inside the case is a label with name of the manufacturer: Filotecnica Ing. A. SALMOIRAGHI S.A. Milano Description: Graduated surveyor’s cross with compass. Cylindrical like a simple surveyor’s cross, but of increased size, is composed of two parts superimposed on an orthogonal plane at the axis of the cylinder. On its flap is engraved a circular scale with sexagesimal degrees. It also features a compass inserted at the top of the cylinder to read the magnetic azimuth of the pointing line. Draw straight lines.
