Original Vespa 150 scooter from June 1963, with sidecar. This Vespa was imported in the Netherlands in 2009 and now has a complete Dutch registration which can exported if needed. I don’t know where the sidecar came from. As you can see, this is an older restoration. Likely to be from before it was imported in 2009. The Vespa starts nicely, the 2-stroke engine runs well. During the restoration, an electric immobilizer with switch was fitted for safety. Technically everything seems to have been replaced, the carburettor looks new, the headlight and rear light too. All tyres are almost in mint condition. The Vespa has stood still for a few years. I used it briefly, it shifts and brakes as it should. Of course, the paintwork has some damage all around after all these years. Such as on the kickstarter and on the fairing. The engine sweats a few drops of oil, it is after all an older scooter... The sidecar seems small, bit I’m 1.80 m and I fit! Not in the photo but included is an insulating mat for the bottom of the sidecar and a cover. Some cover clasps are missing as you can see in the pictures. The sidecar’s fairing is entirely made of steel. There is also some extra chrome and a cover for over the spare wheel. Very nice for retro scooter rides, and certainly an eye-catcher in collections, a showroom, a shop window, mancave etc. Without sidecar also very useful as a 60s scooter!
