Spain. World War II, Spanish German Blue Division. General Franco. Rare large Falange original badge of that era personalized with the enameled silver shield of a veteran's 250th Division. Good-sized metal emblem, which the Spanish volunteers, members of the Falange, wore on the Russian front. They used to be placed on the chest of the Wehrmacht uniform tunic or on fur caps captured from Soviet troops. Sometimes patches were used and other times this type of metal insignia in different variants. The Spanish Falange was a Spanish fascist party founded by José Antonio Primo de Rivera that supported Franco during the Spanish Civil War and the only one authorized during his dictatorship. Attention, photographs of soldiers are not included, they are shown as information to see how the emblems were placed. Good condition with some signs of the passage of time, see photos.
