Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark, virtually opaque purple color loses no intensity to the rim.. Concentrated, ripe, juicy red-fruit aromas have cinnamon & cedar spice hints & high-toned dark-fruit notes. Incredibly juicy, smooth, pure, lifted dark-fruit on the palate is velvety & chocolatey in texture. Fine tannins & lively freshness support concentrated sweet licorice fruit. A structured but silky-smooth finish combines exotic spices, lifted violet perfume & great length." - 04/23 DCAMW
