Magnificent Art Deco porcelain figurine of a rare “Blue Butterfly” with touches of green and orange color, creation of the famous artist Otto Koch for Rosenthal Selb Art Department, in excellent condition.
Rare collectors item, by one of the most appreciated and desirable artist: Otto Koch (1901 - 1974).
Starting 1920 he became head of the newly founded Rosenthal Art Department at the Bahnhof-Selb plant (Ploessberg).
He worked for Rosenthal from 1920 to 1966.
It is in excellent condition, marked on the back of the base with Rosenthal specific year mark of 1929, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
