This noble walking stick has been put up for sale. It has the coat of arms of the Palugyay family from the early 1900s. The family can be traced back to the 1300s, the Palugyay Palace is located in Austria. The stick was made by Georg Adam Scheid, if you look at the side of the handle you can find the GAS stamp. Nice simple design, with fire enamel decoration.
They also had a very famous champagne factory at the beginning of the 19th century, called Chateu Palugyay.
The Palugyay family has played a noble role between Austria and Hungary since the 13th century. There were well-to-do barons and bishops among the descendants.
