Appleton Hearts Collection is a limited-edition range of three 100% Pot Still single marks selected by Luca Gargano and the legendary Master Blender of Appleton Estate, Joy Spence. It consists of three unique vintages: 1994, 1995 and 1999, distilled 26, 25 and 21 years ago, respectively.
The Hearts Collection represents a world first: the rums that make up this release are in fact the first single marks rum, 100% Pot Still and vintage, that Appleton Estate has ever released in its history.
Joy initially chose ten rums from several years, among the nearly 200,000 aging at Appleton Estate, one of the world's largest stocks. During a trip to Jamaica, Luca and Joy met at the distillery and there together they led a blind tasting to get to select the same three rums.
Thus a unique edition is born, able to take you to the heart of Jamaica to appreciate the many aromatic shades and colors of Appleton Estate and the blends of Joy Spence.
