This copy is the second impression, August 1935, of the first edition for general circulation printed in 1935. Original Sand-coloured cloth, spine lettered in gilt, upper board with centre gilt motto of double crossed swords ('The sword also means clean-ness and death'). Top page edges gilt. Firm and well bound copy. External covers are clean and in nice shape. Internally the book is in very good condition (it appears not fully read as some pages still uncut). No names or inscriptions. Pages are clean, with occasional light foxing on few pages, and page edges. All pages are tightly held at the gutter. Inner hinges are very good.
