"At the end of the 80s, a new generation renewed the Rioja wine sector. Carmen Daurella and Mario Rotllant arrive in La Rioja with the firm intention of creating a project that contributes something new to the world of wine. Then begins an exciting, ambitious, demanding and unprecedented adventure: Bodegas Roda.
Bodegas Roda is located on the banks of the Ebro River, on a balcony in the La Estación neighborhood of Haro (La Rioja), on a 19th century cellar. Winegrowers used it to store crops, which were later sent to Bordeaux by rail to mitigate the damage caused by phylloxera."
