Besides being a DJ favorite for decades, this turntable has found its way into the homes of audiophiles and listeners globally. In particular, the SL-1200 is renowned for its accurate and stable rotation speed, ensuring the highest quality pitch reproduction possible. This MK5 model was introduced in 2000 and offers some changes compared to preceding versions, including a removable magnetic lid and an increased range of anti-skate settings. This was the final SL-1200 model which included analog pitch control.
