Characteristics:
Casing made in Japan: stainless steel covered in black PVD, Ø 35 mm, thickness 5.5 mm. PVD is an acronym for Physical Vapour Deposition. The coating is applied to the casing/strap in a vacuum chamber. The coating (or coating layer) is a deposit of carbon. It was traditionally used by the military or tactical guards as an anti-glare mechanism so that the metal wouldn't shine in the sun. Bracelet: Black PVD on varnished stainless steel, folding clasp with spring for when it has to go over clothes, 3D BMW logo on the clasp!!! SWISS MADE STRAP!! Made in Switzerland for BMW by Piquot-Meridian with ETA Swiss calibre 958,332 movement: Hand display: hours, minutes. Numeric display: hours, minutes, seconds, date, and day; with timer for: hours, minutes, seconds of another time zone. Chronograph: hours, minutes, seconds, 1/100 of a second. It stops automatically after 24 hours. Countdown. Alarms (hours and minutes alarms). END OF LIFE by blinking of numerical display. Sapphire: mineral sapphire. Backing in stainless steel. Water resistant 3 bar.
