Alegría is a classic reinterpreted to appeal to new generations. It is a touring show by Cirque du Soleil directed by Franco Dragone and which premiered in Montreal on April 21, 1994.

It is the ninth production of the company which celebrated its tenth anniversary. The show has been presented in more than 65 cities around the world and has been seen by more than ten million spectators.[secondary source desired] Since May 2009, it has no longer been performed under large marquees, but in arenas. Her last performance took place on December 29, 2013 at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp.

To mark Alegría's 25th anniversary, a first performance of its revisited version, entitled Alegría - in a new light, is given on April 18, 2019 in Montreal.
