【Product details】

This revered ensemble features Fudo Myoo (Acala), the immovable king of light, at the center, flanked by Kongara Douji on the left and Seitaka Douji on the right, conforming to the traditional composition of the Fudo Myoo triad. Fudo Myoo, a principal deity in Esoteric Buddhism, is considered an incarnation of Dainichi Nyorai (Vairocana Buddha) and serves as a protector of the Buddhist law, safeguarding practitioners from misfortune and spiritual confusion. Symbolized by his fierce appearance, Fudo Myoo embodies the determination to save even the most afflicted beings and to sever malignant thoughts obstructing the path to enlightenment.

The passage of time has left its mark on this sacred triad, manifesting in wear, some scratches, dirt, and damage, with significant flaking of the lacquer paint. These conditions are thoroughly documented in the provided photographs, offering a clear view of the aging process that this artifact has undergone.
The upper part of the flaming halo of Fudō Myō-ō has come off.
The posted images were taken with Fudō Myō-ō and the halo placed in such a way to sandwich the missing part between them.
The left hand of the red douji (child) Statue on the left side is missing.

Dimensions of Cabinet: approx. H 85 cm W 38 cm D 28.5 cm
Dimensions of Statue: approx. H 65 cm W 32.5 cm D 22.5 cm
