Staty - Förgylld brons, Turkos - Bodhisattva, Mahakala - Tantric Wrathful Buddhist Diety with Consort - Nepal - 1900-talet

This is a large, heavy, beautiful, andvintage, Tantric Buddhis,t Mahakala with Consort.

Gilt Bronze and Red lacquer ( worn) with Turquoise settings.

The Ferocious wrathful Diety with three heads has all the iconic attributes of this powerful Tantric Guardian.

Female Consort, Mandala, and Wings are detachable with care.

Typical of style of pieces and their physical condition ( age related wear, patina, and handling over time) from the late Qing Dynasty. I believe though this is from the mid 20th Century. Please make your own estimation.

CONDITION:

Good/reasonable. With wear, loss of gilt, loss of red lacquer, loss of red hair colour, patina, blemishes, scratches, oxidization, small casting faults and excesses, modelling irregularities/faults consistent with type and age of manufacture. Please note the long line under figure on base is not a crack but part of the construction.
