State of Art Amphora Vase with Double Snake handles, icon model of the great designer Ernst August Leuteritz (1818 - 1893) from the year 1853 for Meissen Porzellan Manufaktur, in excellent antique condition.

This magnificent amphora vase has two marvelous curling snakes handles on both sides, hand painted bouquet of flowers decorations to the front and back of the vase, heavy gilded on textured foot, middle and rim.

This fabulous amphora vase from Ernst August Leuteritz “is a shining example of Meissen's historicism. Characteristic of this style is the liberal incorporation and even amalgamation of elements from preceding epochs, in particular from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Rococo periods. The amphora is in excellent condition, First Choice, marked with Meissen blue crossed swords mark, slight gold abrasion in some areas, NO chips, NO cracks, and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
