"AIR JORDAN 9" was released in the 1993-1994 season. Designed by Tinker Hatfield. The outsole is engraved with "World Sports" and is the only Japanese word in the AIR JORDAN series. The model was never worn on the court due to Jordan's retirement (he later returned to the NBA and wore it during the WIZARDS era). Later, when he challenged MLB, he played wearing the same model with the sole changed to spikes. By the way, the bronze statue of Jordan in front of the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls, is wearing the AIR JORDAN 9.
This product incorporates the design of Jordan's apparel collection "DREAM IT, DO IT", which was developed from 1992 to 1993, into "AIR JORDAN 9". The shoe tongue features the campaign logo from that time, making it an irresistible finish for fans.
