A lovely antique Chinese porcelain Amazing blue glazed Foo lion statue, possibly a Nightlight in resting position. Superb quality, worthy for display in a museum. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, ca. 1800. On the backside an unglazed base, showing age and material. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.

The eyesnse and mouth are open, so light can shine through to scare off mice and other negativity.

Length: 16,5 centimeter

Condition: The object is in near perfect condition. Only some minute glaze bites and a restored chip off one ear. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
