Very unusual vintage French sterling silver combination money clip and travel pocket sundial. Round form with Roman numerals. The outer ring is marked with Mappin Paris maker's mark and "crab" hallmark which was used in France on small items of silver. The sundial was then imported into London and received a full set of British hallmarks.
Highly unusual and desirable item.
