Zum Verkauf steht eine wunderschöne und seltene, römische Bronzestatue eines thrakischen Reiters in schöner Erhaltung, aus der Antike.


Alter: zw. 100 Jahre n. Chr. - 200 Jahre n. Chr.
Größe: Höhe mit Stand 6,9 cm (Höhe ohne Stand 5,3 cm) und Länge 5,1 cm. Gewicht des Reiters mit Pferd ca. 36 g.

Zustand/Form: Sehr gut bis gut erhalten (siehe Bilder)

Die antike römische Bronzestatue eines thrakischen Reiters, datiert zwischen dem 1. und 2. Jahrhundert n. Chr., ist ein faszinierendes Kunstwerk von einzigartiger Schönheit und historischem Wert. Die Bronzestatue zeigt ein thrakisches Pferd mit einem Reiter in typischer Pose. Das rechte Vorderbein des Pferdes ist 90° angewinkelt, während der rechte Arm des Reiters nach oben gestreckt ist, was der Szene eine dynamische Anmut verleiht. Sowohl der Reiter als auch das Pferd sind mit großer Sorgfalt und Detailtreue gearbeitet, wobei jeder Aspekt der Figuren mit äußerster Präzision gestaltet wurde.

Die Oberfläche der Statue ist von einer wunderschönen, hellgrünen-türkisgrauen Patina bedeckt, die dem Artefakt einen authentischen und charmanten Charakter verleiht. Die Artefakte waren Bestandteil einer Privatsammlung.

For sale is a beautiful and rare Roman bronze statue of a Thracian rider in beautiful condition from antiquity.


Age: between 100 years AD - 200 years AD
Size: Height with stand 6.9 cm and length 5.1 cm. Weight of the rider with horse approx. 36 g.

Condition/shape: Very good to good condition (see pictures)

The ancient Roman bronze statue of a Thracian rider, dated between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, is a fascinating work of art of unique beauty and historical value. Despite its age, this statue is in remarkably good condition with signs of weathering.

The bronze statue shows a Thracian horse with a rider in a typical pose. The horse's right front leg is bent at 90° while the rider's right arm is extended upward, giving the scene a dynamic grace. Both the rider and horse are crafted with great care and attention to detail, with every aspect of the figures designed with extreme precision.

The surface of the statue is covered in a beautiful light green-turquoise-gray patina, giving the artifact an authentic and charming character. This found patina, which has formed over time, contributes to the historical authenticity of the statue and makes it a fascinating testament to Roman artistry.

Both the rider's head and the horse's head are detailed, with the rider's facial features, such as eyes, nose and mouth, clearly visible. The bronze finish of the horse gives the statue a vibrant appearance and highlights the artistic mastery expressed in its creation.
