The Sex Pistols were a pioneering punk rock band from Great Britain active in the late 1970s. They are considered one of the most influential bands in the punk movement and have had a lasting impact on the musical landscape.

The band was formed in London in 1975 and consisted of singer Johnny Rotten (real name: John Lydon), guitarist Steve Jones, bassist Glen Matlock (later replaced by Sid Vicious) and drummer Paul Cook.
The Sex Pistols became known for their provocative lyrics, aggressive guitar riffs and rebellious attitude.

Their only studio album "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" from 1977 is considered a milestone in punk rock and influenced an entire generation of musicians.
Songs like "Anarchy in the U.K.", "God Save the Queen" and "Holidays in the Sun" have become classics of the genre.

However, the band was also marked by controversy and internal conflicts.
Its short existence was marked by bans on performances, scandals and band breakups.
After just one year and a series of turbulent events, the band broke up in 1978.

Despite their short career, the Sex Pistols left a lasting impact on the music world and are still considered icons of punk culture to this day.
Her music and her rebellious attitude have inspired and influenced numerous musicians.
