Superb 1822 model service rifle, manufactured in 1831 by the Royal Arms Factory of Mutzig, converted to a ‘T’ by the Tulle Arms Factory and then ‘T bis’ by the Mutzig Arms Factory (1859). - mechanically, it works perfectly, 2 notches are secure with clear percussion. - sidelock with unusual marking, bearing the double signatures of Mutzig and Tulle (T conversion) - beautiful markings on the wood of the butt - invisible repair by Mutzig's arsenal - 1868 (bridge reinforcement under counter-lock - see photos) - barrel/wood numbered 120 - all parts are hallmarked - bolt tail with original rise (for shooting at 300 paces) - with regulatory rod, removed from service and re-registered 143 102.9 cm barrel still in beautiful good condition (inside/outside) with attenuated but visible stripes - bayonet socket present) superb antique service rifle, close to 200 years old, with signs of handling and wear due to age, small stains and small fillings, but still solid, in good aesthetic condition and with good performance (look closely at the pictures, which are part of the description).
