Argentine painter and art director based in Berlin, Germany.

For Rodrigo Pernas, his works enable introspective subjects to rise to the surface. Often, he does not know their shape beforehand: the lines become a way to define them. And while sometimes the issues that are explored are not his own, by proximity they become tangible, accessible, to him and to the viewer: “The only way I know how to solve them is first of all by defining them. You can see if they are now part of a bigger issue or if they stand alone. Waiting to be tackled.”
