Beautifully prepared, partially enrolled spiny Drotops armatus trilobite.
This trilobite comes from the Hamar Laghdad Limestone formation from the Devonian period near the town of Ofaten in the south of Morocco.
The size of the trilobite is 12 cm long x 7 cm wide, it is partially enrolled, this length is measured as if it were outstretched/flat.
The matrix measures 9 x 7 cm and together with the trilobite it makes a beautiful display.
Multi-faceted eyes are well preserved on this specimen.
