The larvae Nothosaurus is a kind of marine reptiles. This species was featured in Disney's film 'Fantasia'. This piece is cleaned with sandblasting technology, so the bone can appear more three-dimensional, and many parts can be preserved. Although the body is scattered, the bones are very clear. There are fewer larvae than adults.
The matrix is about 52*28*5 cm and the body is about 38*9 cm.
Nothosaurus was a semi-oceanic animal which probably had a lifestyle similar to that of today's seals. It was about 4 metres (13 ft), with long, webbed toes and possibly a fin on its tail. Their prey includes Keichousaurus.
