Beautiful portrait of a pipe-smoking gentleman by the German painter W.L. Mumberg, originally from Düsseldorf and mostly known for his painting of famous men with pipes. I cannot find any more information on this artist. His work dates back to the beginning of the 20th century (30s and earlier). Portrait on panel with an eye for detail, bottom right is signed.
