Floating mantel clock by 'W & A Schmid-Schlenker Jr.' made in West Germany. The clock dates from the 1960s and is in good working condition, both the case and the movement. The mantel clock itself consists of copper, and is placed in an optical floating effect in an acrylic glass on weighted foot. It has an eight-day mechanical movement. The case can be easily opened by turning the copper knob on top of the timepiece and removing the cap at the front. This way the time can be set manually. Winding of the mechanics is conducted through a copper key on the backside of the case.
