Large zamak sculpture of the French artist Emile Bruchon (1806-1895) from the second half of the 19th century. The French artist left his signature on the base of the sculpture. Depicted is a 'faneuse' (literally: shaker); The lady scatters seeds and grains, which she keeps in the cloth around her waist, before putting them in the ground. Emile Bruchon was a student of the famous French sculptor Mathurin Moreau and made both sculptures and decorative objects, in bronze and zamak. In good general condition. The patina was presumably touched up. Photos complete this description. Viewing in advance is possible in consultation with the auctioneer. The lot will be carefully packed and sent by registered mail.
