Beautiful old clock with stopwatch function / laboratory clock by Junghans, ca. 1950. In fine condition and fully original. With a mechanical movement that will run for approx. 12 hours after being wound. Hand-wound through the back. Completely metal case with bail. The metal case still has its original black colour in hammerstrike lacquer, partially flaked off through use and age, see photos. Fine dial with seconds on the large dial and 10 minutes on the sub-dial, in very beautiful condition and winds perfectly. When the mid-right lever is pulled downwards the clock will stop ticking. Subsequently, when this lever is again pulled downwards the clock will start running again. The lever will automatically jump back to its starting position. By means of the nickel-plated pull knob at the bottom, the hands are reset to 0. Perfect reset. The clock has a diameter of 21 cm and is 7 cm thick. The photos are part of the description.
