Small vinaigrette / smelling, perfume box from the 19th century; this classy box comes from the Cocks & Bettridge manufacturer 1802-1818 Silver, gold-plated on the inside, beautiful floral engravings on the lid! In good condition, age-related signs of wear and tear (see photos) These fragrance boxes were used primarily in Victorian times by classy ladies to use during the threat of a fainting spell.
