It has always been in a showcase.It has never been used, no defects. It still has felt under each of the pieces, the 4 pharaohs are in perfect condition, never broken or glued. Rarely available in this condition. The 32 pieces are inspired by the characters of Tutankhamen's time. The pieces are superbly detailed and plated with 24 carat gold. The pedestals are painted black and ivory. The frame of the chessboard is hardwood, the feet are represented by pharaohs who are also plated with 24 carat gold On each side a writing in hieroglyphics that means (chess game of Tutankhamun) The central part of the chess game is made of ebony wood and rosewood.
