The history: From its inception in 1955 to the 1990s, the Bundeswehr was recognised as one of the most well-organised and well-equipped armies of its time, although it did not participate in active combat. This watch was created to be the companion of a Bundeswehr pilot. "3H" on the dial indicates tritium, since hydrogen-3 is the chemical compound for the radioactive luminous material.
