Authentic and noteworthy coffee set made of Capodimonte porcelain with pure gold finishes. Period: 1940 This antique set consists of: 12 coffee cups, height: 5.5 cm; 12 saucers, diameter: 10 cm; 1 sugar bowl, height including lid: 11.5 cm; 1 coffeepot, height 23 cm; 1 creamer, height 13 cm. The set is in good cosmetic condition, it has never been used (see the pictures that are an integral part of the description). This piece of antique is in a beautiful and rare colour. The porcelain of Capodimonte owes its name to the hilly area of Capodimonte, in Naples, where, in the mid-eighteenth century, King Charles of Bourbon and his wife Maria Amalia of Saxony founded the Royal Factory of Capodimonte. Besides being kept in the Museum of Capodimonte, a considerable number of porcelains produced by this famous factory are also preserved in the Duca di Martina Museum, in the Villa Floridiana, in the Museo Filangieri and in the Diego Aragona Pignatelli Museum.
