I am offering: antique overseas suitcase / wardrobe trunk, manufactured approx. 1920 . The overseas travel suitcase has survived more than the past 100 years very well and is in astonishingly good overall condition except for the unavoidable signs of wear and tear. The wardrobe trunk was made with check plates, which were covered with a canvas and dyed brown. The incredible stability is based on wood fittings and iron edges and brass fittings. Thanks to the 2 brass locks the suitcase can be opened and closed. Only the key is missing. The trunk is lined with fabric. On both sides of the head there are sturdy leather straps. .
