This unusual Mercedes 280 Coupé comes from 1974 and from the first (!) owner, they drove the car up to now. It is a luxury version with the large 6-cylinder 2.8L injection engine and automatic gearbox. It was an expensive top model at the time with nice options such as a sliding roof (not working at the moment), electric windows, automatic gearbox, alloy wheels and an outside temperature gauge. The original Blaupunkt radio / cassette player is also included, it can even record. The radio plays well. It has a velour interior (sometimes called Pullmann upholstery), however the front seats will need to be repaired, the rest including door panels and headliner is still very neat. The body clearly has rust which can be seen in the photos. The chrome is very neat, the dashboard is very nice and pretty much everything works. Technically always well maintained, some maintenance invoices are available as well as various booklets, even the original radio manual. This Strich 8 coupé still looks stylish and drives very well, the engine runs well and is powerful, the automatic gearbox shifts properly. The kilometres driven is only a reading, the total is not known. Very reliable mechanics, it has a Dutch periodic inspection valid until 25 October 2020. Unfortunately, the body needs to be properly refurbished. This unusual coupé can be seen and picked up in Herkenbosch, the Netherlands.
