Westminster ODO carillon: Mechanical ODO carillon, 1950s, Westminster chime. There are three springs; one for the chime, one for the gongs, and one for the movement. Once it is set up, the carillon runs for seven to eight days. It is also possible to silence the chime at night without stopping the mechanism by pulling the two strings located above the movement.
