1995 MERCEDES-BENZ 500 SL, 'glass roof'. The history of this vehicle began in 1995 in Germany, in 1997 it was imported to Spain and since then it had one owner until 2016, and belongs now to the current owner. The car has been stored in the collection for the last few years with minimal use, but enough to keep it from being dormant. It has recently undergone a vehicle inspection (ITV, Spanish MOT) and a 500 km road test to fully check the mechanical condition of the vehicle. Externally, the car was completely repainted a few years ago and retains its original two-tone finish. It is in good condition with few defects and little orange-peel surface. The only defect of moderate importance is the bump on the right rear panel. It is believed that the paint on the hard top is the original factory paint. Everything else is very good and shows normal defects due to use and the passage of time. The interior is in very good condition. It is finished in black and grey leather with wood; a combination that complements the dark blue exterior. In terms of wear, it has very few signs of use and is in very good condition. It retains its authenticity and has some very interesting factory options. The V8 engine works well, as does the gearbox. The ride is comfortable and agile, the electrical systems all work perfectly, from the seats to the door opener. The air conditioning system works and cools. The suspension system works and all three positions can be adjusted (sometimes you can hear the noise of the compressor at work). The tyres have taken shape from being parked and at certain speeds there is a noticeable vibration, so it would be advisable to re-align the tyres for an even more comfortable ride. The radio is not the original, but the sound system works without problems.
