This is the "Patrimoine" French Bedspread , loved and liked for so many decennia by the French and of recent date brought back again by a new generation who never knew of the history. It is the classical design and copied since with so many interpretations,`but this design and 2 similar others have always been so loved. Considering the age of the cover it is in very good condition and I was going to describe it as "EXCELLENT CONDITION" as I could see no fault with it ,but thought it better be safe to put it under "GOOD CONDITION". The cover is sub divided into 30 squares and the design is the classic X, framed with pompoms and in between each line of the X are 4 small squares of pompoms. Lastly because of the generous dimensions you can of course also use the cover the other way round and use the 2m40 vertically and creating a bolster with the pillows
