Rare OFFICIAL US ARMY Medic handbook, dated 1942. This great combat medical book has 27 chapters (almost 400 pages!) and covers subjects such as: military discipline, insignia, clothing, equipment, marches, compass/map, etc. etc. PLUS military sanitation, anatomy and physiology, emergency treatment, army hosptial, ward management, nursing, pharmacy, etc. etc. etc....too many more subjects to mention. Book has leather binding. 383 pages with Index. Photos and illustrations. A fantastic reference book for the medical collector, in nice condition for its age. It is named to JESSE D TRAYLER, he enlisted in 1943 and specialized to be a medic; he was from Lubbock, Texas. His name and service number is neatly written in the book.
Great medical handbook for your military collection, would look fantastic with a medic mannequin for example!
Item is in good, but of course used condition.
