Lot of 4 original drawings in ink and watercolour. Most likely proposals for a catalog or brochure cover, a postcard and 2 poster stamps about the city of Utrecht. Colouring and lay out closely related to modernist design, such as De Stijl movement. The artist who comes to mind is Louise (Lou) Loeber (1894-1983). She wasn’t a member of De Stijl, but her neighbor Bart van der Leck briefly was. Loeber lived in Laren, close to Utrecht. The largest piece is in fact signed at the back with a signature which could be read as Loeber. Also dated 1929 and titled “Nooit volmaakt”. The last photo shows a known work by Loeber to demonstrate the resemblance. This comes from the estate of a deceased prominent Dutch collector. Catalog cover measures 24 x 16, postcard 14 x 9 cm, poster stamps 6 x 4 cm. Some age appropiate wear.
